Born in Birmingham, England in 1988.

On leaving high school I studied for a BTEC in Photography, which then led me to study for a BA in Photographic Art at the University of Wales, Newport. Initially I thought that I wanted to be a fashion photographer, but then I started to make the work that I really wanted to make - work that was more personal.

I graduated in 2010 with a self portraiture project that explored a personal phase that I went through in my second year of the course. From there a positive response (and a prize commission) gave me the confidence to produce further series, which in the making and exhibiting process have helped me overcome personal hurdles.

In December 2014 I completed an MA in Photography at the London College of Communication. During the course, my interest in video grew and for my final show I presented a video project, Your Dedication Worries Me A Little, as well as a photographic series, Covering The Carpet.

In 2013 I self-published my first book.
