I was born in Birmingham, England in 1988.
I was given a 35mm camera at a young age by my parents and grew up with my Dad and Nan quite keenly taking photographs. It became a serious hobby at the age of fifteen and from high school I went on to do a BTEC in Photography. In 2010 I graduated from a BA in Photographic Art at the University of Wales, Newport.
After my degree I went back to my family home for a few months to make One Is Not Like The Other and then moved to London. I am currently studying at the London College of Communication for an MA in Photography, where I am also experimenting with video.
The recurring themes within my practice are identity and representation, whilst generally using myself within the work. When making a project I usually have to overcome a personal hurdle in the process, which enables me to grow both as a person and as an artist.
