37 Weeks II
Máscara Maternal is a self-portraiture project that documents the last weeks of my pregnancy with my second child. I had intended to make a similar project when pregnant with my first child, but I only managed to do one shoot (one day before she arrived) as she was two weeks early.
The technique is the same as my series Máscara, where I used makeup on a camera filter. The final nine images have the same look via using lip gloss.
Máscara is Portuguese for mask and Máscara Maternal means maternal mask.
